I'm in the co-operative program at the University of Waterloo, and my first co-op (work) term is January to April. So I'll need a job. There are two roads I can take on this one. There is JobMine, the online system (horrible interface, thanks PeopleSoft) for matching students with employers, and then there is the option of finding a job on your own.
The entire process, done either way, is made as complex as possible, although I'm sure the university has good reasons for it. One nicety (and I don't have this totally correct yet) is that once you apply to jobs through JobMine, you're basically committed to accepting the first one of them that you get.
So in conclusion, please save me from the boring jobs in JobMine! Anyone interested in hiring a guy who's an expert on search, can do web development, and has three arms (one of those may not be true, and I've also got other assets), please e-mail me at mfagan AT gmail DOT com and I can send over my resume. My prefered location is planet Earth. Thanks!
Here's a related tip by myself, which is part of my not-yet-announced part of my beta features within URLinfo beta. When viewing a page cached page using Google, click on the URLinfo bookmarklet (if you don't have it, get it!) and then click on the first link in the blue box for quick access to caches from other tools.
