My economics class reminded me of my thoughts on our poor view. Economics (and most people, I think) see definitions like this:

labour/labor

work

job

what one doesn’t want to do, but does for survival

leisure

what one wants to do, but does not aid in survival

Whereas I see it like this

life

what one wants to do; what one makes of it
