{"id":1015,"date":"2010-02-10T11:57:05","date_gmt":"2010-02-10T18:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faganm.com\/blog\/2010\/02\/08\/1015\/"},"modified":"2010-05-03T19:41:04","modified_gmt":"2010-05-04T02:41:04","slug":"frozen-lizards-in-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/faganm.com\/blog\/2010\/02\/10\/1015\/","title":{"rendered":"Frozen Lizards in Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A few weeks ago I was in Florida, around the Fort Lauderdale area, and for the first couple of days, it was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wolframalpha.com\/input\/?i=fort+lauderdale+temperature+january+8+to+january+15+2010\">very cold, for Florida<\/a>. Too cold for many lizards, that&#8217;s for sure. Here are a couple of my photos of deceased lizards taken after it warmed up. These are mostly iguanas and other large lizards, as I didn&#8217;t take photos of any small ones.<\/p>\n<p>In the second photo you can see that something has removed the lizard&#8217;s tail, presumably after it died.
