Schools in cities don’t get to have nice large grassy fields, but this is still pretty nice. so much so that I suspect it is a private school. In Telegraph Hill, probably on Greenwich Street

sow bug

I don’t even remember if I first learned to call these sow bugs or pill bugs, or tomato bugs. Actually I think it may have been the last of those. And it’s a crustacean anyway. It’s also only the second tiny animal (after the spider in this photoset) that I’ve successfully gotten a good photo of.
